We really appreciate you being on time for your appointments.
If it is your first visit to the studio, please arrive 20-30 minutes earlier of your appointment time so that you can fill out the intake form and get an orientation. If your forms are already filled out, please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier of your appointment time.
If you’re a returning visitor to the studio, we would love for you to be in settled in your chair and ready to go at your appointment time. Things can get quite busy and we want to maximize our time with you.
If you arrive 10 minutes past your appointment time, you may need to wait to be treated – please let us know by phone or email if you anticipate arriving late.
If you arrive 20 minutes or more past your appointment time, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that you will see the acupuncturist. If we are busy and unable to accommodate you, this will be considered a missed appointment and the $10 fee will apply, unless it is your first visit to the studio. Please note: the no show or late cancellation fee will change to $20 starting May 1, 2017.
More than 24 hours before your appointment:
Our online scheduler allows you to cancel or reschedule to your appointment if it is more than 24 hours in advance of the appointment time. Please log in here to do so: pocapoint.
Less than 24 hours before your appointment:
A $10 late cancellation fee will apply if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment. Please note: the no show or late cancellation fee will change to $20 starting May 1, 2017. Our online scheduler does not allow you to cancel or reschedule your appointment within a 24 hour window of your appointment.
Please email the studio as soon as you can and call the studio so that we can try to open up the appointment for someone who may be on the waiting list. In the event that we are able to fill the appointment slot, you will not be charged the fee.
If you have $30 or more accrued in late cancellation or missed appointment fees, we ask that you settle the fees first (in person or by etransfer), prior to booking your next appointment.
The studio welcomes everyone who understands and respects our policies. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who refuses to abide by them.
